1. Acceptance of terms

By using The Narrator ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. Your content and copyright

When you upload a manuscript to the Service:

• You confirm that you are the copyright owner or have explicit permission from the copyright owner to create an audiobook version
• You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• You grant us a temporary, limited license to process your manuscript solely for the purpose of generating your audiobook
• This license terminates automatically when your manuscript file is deleted (within 24 hours of processing)

4. Your ownership of generated audio

You retain full ownership of all audiobook files generated from your manuscripts. We claim no intellectual property rights over your generated audiobooks. You may use them for any purpose, including commercial distribution, without restriction or royalty payments to us.

5. Our service

We provide automated audiobook generation technology. We make no guarantees about:

• The exact quality or style of narration — results vary based on manuscript formatting, content, and chosen voice
• 100% uptime or availability of the Service
• Specific processing times (30-60 minutes is typical but not guaranteed)

6. Payments and refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

We offer a free 15-minute preview before any payment is required. Because customers can evaluate quality before purchasing, we do not offer refunds once audiobook generation has begun. If The Narrator fails to deliver a completed audiobook due to a technical error on our end, a full refund will be issued within 5 business days. To request a refund email [email protected]

7. Prohibited use

You may not use the Service to generate audiobooks from content that:

• You do not own the rights to
• Is illegal, defamatory, or harmful
• Infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
• Contains explicit sexual content involving minors
• Is intended to harass, threaten, or harm individuals

8. Limitation of liability

The Narrator is not liable for any copyright disputes, claims, or damages arising from content uploaded by users. You assume full responsibility for ensuring you have the legal right to create audiobook versions of any manuscript you upload.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
